Tavern “KOLINASI” is situated in the heart of Istria towards Hum, the smallest town in the world, at the entrance to the Glagolitic Alley. We can describe it as gorgeous landscape. It is arranged in the authentic istrian style in stone and wood.
Gastronomic offer is focused to the traditional domestic istrial cousine. The tavern has a capacity of 50 persons in the amazing interior made of old grota (stone in istrian dialect) and big terrace which can accommodate around 70 people.
With it’s 22 inhabitants Hum is the smallest town on Earth. It is situated in the heart of Istra, as part of the municipality of Buzet. It is 14 km away from Buzet and 7 km from Roč. You can reach Hum from all directions by car, touristic bus or train, although many visitors arrive by foot as well.
Today Roč is a settlement along the road: Triest – Koper – Buzet – “Učka” tunnel – Rijeka. It has 180 inhabitants and it is exceptionally active cultural center. Among events the most attractive happening is the traditional International encounter of small diatonic accordion players.
Not far away from the town of Hum, along the road Roč – Hum, a unique memorial complex “Glagolitic Alley” stretches. It is composed of 11 outdoor stone monuments dedicated to Glagolitic and Glagolitic script.
